It is not necessary to go to gym to maintain general fitness levels you can do it at home
Always turn to your left while waking up
Do exercise while watching TV, standing in kitchen like leg raises while sitting in office
Wear proper shoes while walking to avoid calf and leg pain
Going to buy veges or travelling is not an exercise per say, take out 20-30 minutes everyday, consistency is very important
Bend your kness while lifting objects from ground instead of directly bending from back which can lead to backache.
